Deidre's Story
I've always loved to travel so after graduating from Clear Creek, I went to The International Travel Institue in Houston where I trained to became a Travel Agent. I was a Travel Agent for about 18 years, and I got to travel around the world, and learn about many different cultures. In 1984 I moved from League City to Houston, where I had so much fun. I met and married Troy Dennis, my first husband in 1986 and divorced him in 1989. I worked and travelled for a few more years, and then met my current husband, Elliot Meacham in 1991. he never ending rain. And even with all of the over educated, eco fanatical, politically correct people. It's a progressive, democrat filled, Obama loving city through and through. I have two boys, Alex who is 14, and Theo who is 11. They play soccer, baseball and basketball, and Alex will play onhis HS freshman football team this fall. They keep us really busy. My husband Elliot and I have been married for 16 years now. He works for Microsoft, he's a technical writer, and I've been a stay at home mom for the past couple of years. I still have family in Houston but I haven't been back to visit in many years. The rest of my family is in Ft. Lauderdale and Elliot's family is in Las Vegas.
