Delbert's Story
Well, I'd say that my life has been full of ups and downs. Right after high school, I had no clue what to do, besides party. I went to United Electronics Institute in OKC from Oct '69 to Mar.70, along with about five other guys from our graduating class. I just made it through phase 1 of 6 and dropped out. My draft lottery # was 18, so I eventually chose the Air Force after considering the Marines and Navy. I took 3 physicals within a year before induction into the USAF. have since been widowed once, after 15 & 1/2 years; divorced once (the bipolar blond did me the favor after FIVE LONG YEARS);and I am currently married to a sweet little Asian woman who often pisses me off, but I love her dearly. That's the way passion works. We have two daughters, two grandsons, and two granddaughters between us. We have been married going on 14 years now. I'm working for the USPS and am planning retirement by the end of this year and other adventures and ventures. I can't wait to get out of there!
