Deliska's Story
Life
I am married to my Best Friend, Ray Bradley. I had one son, Jaye Speaks and Jaye has two sons, Carter and Nathaniel,and one daughter Lauren. I have two precious step-children. Susan has one little girl, Hayley, who is a mess, and Susan is married to Jamie. Scott has just married Erin and they have a little boy, Samuel. All of my children are so special to me. I am good to Scott, because HE will be the one putting me and 'daddy' in the home. HA!!
I had one pet cat, Fluffy, but she died of a broken heart...too long a story. I now have a little Yorkie named Scooter. He was born on June 28th, same birthday two special people in my life were born.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I have outlived three cancers, one heart attack and several broken promises. I am blessed and highly favored.
I am a real adventurer since 1992. When you face your mortality, you find out what is truly important to you. I made a list of what I wanted to do before I died. I was told in April 1993 I had 18 months to live. I went to the one who holds my heart beat, and we had a long talk. I wanted to see Jaye graduate college...I did. I wanted to see my grandchildren...I was in the room when all of my 'grands' were born and just outside the door when Hayley was born. I have ridden horses in the high country in Montana and Wyoming and spent a week in a tent in grizzly bear country. I have taken a bath in snow melt and I have sung...Expand for more
to the top of my lungs from the top of a mountain. I have snowmobiled in Colorado and fished in Alaska from a little boat. I have watched Eagles play like we watch robins in spring. I have lived!!
I have been blessed to tell my story of how Jesus saved me, and touched the lives of those who Jesus sought. They asked the Lord to come into their hearts. That has truly been the BEST!! To God be the Glory!

It is so funny when I think of how 'goofy' I was in High School. I was such a dreamer. Oh me, how I learned there was no such thing as a knight in shining armor. He rode in on a donkey and his name was Bubba.
I wanted so much for my life, and I did such a lousy job in making choices for that life.
I finally was blessed with a husband that loves me, inspite of myself. He is a true keeper. We have had such an adventure in our life. We have had some really rocky roads and yet, he still makes me laugh. He can look at me and I still get that little butterfly feeling.
If you are not happily married, that is a true shame. Life is so short to be unhappy.
I am not the same person I was in School--Thank God!--I am a strong person, with a funny sense of humor (some say a dark humor) but I can't help I laugh out loud when someone falls down on ice. I would if I did.
I hope you will get in touch with me, if we were in school. I love to hear what has happened in the life of my old friends.
