Delores Lea's Story
Life
44 years later I remain much the same. I have lived a lot, laughed often and loved being a person who has given of my time and talents to make the world a better place to live. I have a great family. I am still married to John, we had three children. They all three have received degrees from the University of Illinois. They married people with like education. They have given us five grandchildren. John and I are retired. I take care of my grandchildren while their mothers work. My daughters are teachers, my daughter-in-law is a nurse in medical management with Health Alliance at Carle. My two son-in-laws are ministers. One has his doctorate, the other a ...Expand for more
masters degree and is in St. Louis. He is a church planter. Our son has a masters in genetic engineering. I am busy most of the time, but I find time for my family and friends. We attend Crusaders Church in Urbana. We have been there since early 1973. Lots of things to help out with there. I have been a Kindergarten teacher in the church for as many years. I have had an influence for good on many children over the years and I hope that what I had to say in that one hour every Sunday has made an impact on some of their lives. I am conservative in my Christian beliefs and I am one of the most blessed women in this world. I love you all and hope to see you some day.
