Delores's Story
Have had a great life - so far ... and it keeps getting better 'n better.
After graduation, worked at Tinker a year, then spent a couple of years at OBU. For the next 20+ years worked in a church office. Retired two years ago after 28 1/2 years as Exec. Assistant to the Prez at Star Building Systems in Oklahoma City. My retirement dream is to go back and finish that degree I left on hold 50 years ago. Meanwhile, I'm a...Expand for more
n active member of Windmill Poets at Piedmont, and continue to write more than I have in a number of years. I have also enrolled in an oil-painting class after leaving my paints and brushes in a box for 20+ years. I teach a Bible study class of 80-99 years olds each Sunday at Exchange Ave. Baptist Church, sing in the choir and ring handbells. I enjoy life ... and enjoy people in general (contrary to my shy teen years).
