Deloria's Story
Hello! I graduated in 1971. I worked at Singletin's in Wytheville for awhile and then I went to work as a telephone operator. I really enjoyed that job. I met my husband while working at Singleton's. We were married in 1973 and recieved custody of his two children in the same year. The next year we added a daughter to our family and four years later we had a son. We are still married and our children are grown . We now have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.

my job. I then worked for the Carroll County School Board for almost 2 yrs. I was diagnosed with Pulmonary High Pertension, so now I am not working. PH is high blood pressure between the heart and lungs. The arteries grow smaller and it is hard for the blood to pass from heart to lungs.
I have gained a lot of weight since high school and have not been able to lose it.
My life has not turned out like I thought it would when I was in high school, but I am very happy with the way my life has turned out. I have a wonderful husband and terrific kids and the best of grandkids. God has blessed me greatly.
