I went to Garfield Grade School from 1st-6th grade, then North Ridge Junior H.S. in the 7th grade this was in Danville Ill. We moved to Portland in 1969 where I attended Woodlawn for about one month. I was transferred to Jason Lee Elementary and graduated 8th grade there. I attended John Adams and graduated from there my junior year as valedictorian for the class of '73. I had a great time at Adams and met many wonderful friends that have become lifetime friends. I attended four years at Portland State University where I met the man who would later become my best friend, soul mate and husband. Timothy and I were married in April of 1981. We have four wonderful children, two boys and two girls ages 21, 20, 18 & a 3 year. We now have 3 in college. Our children have truly bee...Expand for more
n a blessing to us. I have worked at Providence Medical Center as an ECG technician and with the Portland Parks, working in several different programs with children. I have had several entrepreneur ventures. Some successful some not but all were fun. The best one was with my children and their balloon business. They got all kinds of publicity with that. A big newspaper article, Spirit of the NW with Paul Linnman and a spot on AM NW title Child Entrepreneur. God has been good to me and I am enjoying my life each step of the way. Just when we had our last one in high school we were blessed with our fourth child; now our next to the youngest has just gone off to college our 3 year old is dreaming of pre-school.
