Deloris's Story
After graduating from FWHS '65 with honors, I attended Highline CC and then WWU - graduating with a BA in Economics/Business. Have had interesting jobs Mt Baker Mutual Bank in the 1970's, managing Seattle Credit Bureau office/collections staff, Metro Transit/Waste Water accounting, George Hawkins accounting and motivation seminars across the USA, and finally 28+ years self employed as a Business Broker helping small business owners evaluate and sell their bus...Expand for more
inesses. Earned many national awards for business sales. Retired the end of 2009 from Business Brokerage.
Now my husband, Howard, and I breed, own and race thoroughbred horses in WA and CA. A very fascinating way to be connected to horses and the outdoors. Howard has raced thoroughbreds for 50 years.
Our family has longevity - my mom just turned 101 years young in June 2015! And doing well! Hears to good health!
