Delphine's Story
After graduation and a summer on Catalina Island, with Alice Flathers, I went to Escondido Beauty College. I worked in the hair industry until the end of 1987. I was member of the California Fashion Comitee, teaching on platform up and down the state! Along the way, I also attended Heald Business College and earned a secretarial certificate, with honors.
In 1971 moved to Sonoma County. I owned my own salon for a while and decided that the long hours were bad for my body and went to the local YMCA to work out. While jogging one evening a big guy stayed with my pace and a year later we married....Expand for more
I still have the house marathon record! After a 24 years of marriage, it ended. I am proud to say I have a wonderful son and a beautiful daughter. Some of you met Saundra at the last reunion.
When my daughter decided to go to Creston, Iowa to school, in 2007, I decided to move to Kailua Kona, Hawaii. I love the slow pace and the aloha spirit!
My hobbies still include needlepoint, crocheting, quilting, gardening, and now snorkeling. My newest hobby is searching for that perfect beach!
