Delphine's Story
Life
My life has come full circle and I am now back in San Jose, Ca.. I have been married twice(eleven years each) and I am now single. I have two beautiful, creative kids, Sarah and Ron Pinocchio, who both now live in San Luis Obispo. Sarah just recently left home so I am experiencing the "empty nest" syndrome now. I am an Operations Manager at Valley Medical Center, I am responsible for all billing and collections for hospital and professional services. I also manage the posting and reconciliation of all cash received. It is a very challenging position, and it is always changing. I am doing my best to get back to the gym three times a week, because it has proven to be a great stress outlet for me. r accident which broke my leg. I still love to ride, but I am looking for someone who likes to drive... I am still going to school, I just recently finished a Medical Spanish course which was very challenging.I continue to use my Spanish skills to tutor others so they can obtain their citizenship, and I use Spanish daily at the hospital. In addition, I am learning Tagalog because I will be doing missions work with my church in the philippines in the next six months. In closing, I feel I am in a great spot in life. I can move anywhere, do anything, learn a new profession without anything holding me back. I dreaded being older but I have learned so much, developed great strength and character, a try to make a difference in others lives every day. What could be better! Del Smiley
