It's funny how as you get older you feel the need to reconnect with the 'good ole days'! There are days it all seems like yesterday, and there are days it seems like ions ago. I was married for 24 years, divorced and have been remarried for 2 years now. I have one son who will be 28, 2 grandsons (1 is 8 and the other is 6). I have been in the I.T. field since the 80's. Technology and me just seem to click for some reason. I taught K-8 computer lab in the 90's and loved it. But there is no money in it so I went to work in the public sector. And found there is no money in that either!!!!!!!!!! <laughing> I am still working in the I.T. field, and loving it most of the time. I was a mobile DJ for weddings and parties for about 6 years on the weekends. Now I LOVED that, but found it was too much the older I got when your hauling all that heavy equipment around from town to town. I still play gigs from time to time, but am very selective in what I do. I like it, but it got to be too hard with a full time job during the week too. Now, for a second job I am an onsite after hours/emergency manager at a retirement community in Washington Illinois. The people there give me far more than I ever imagined as far as laughs, and friendships. I still have my daytime job too. So I stay pretty busy as you can imagine. ...Expand for more
