At our 15 year BHS Class Reunion, I was reunited with my old friend Rush Girardeau. From that night forward, we were never apart...then was seven months later we married. This is our 19th year of marriage! It's wonderful !
He would help me to skip class, by making sounds that sounded like the front office over the loud speaker...to check me out! He still has that cute boyish way I liked about him then and is still as handsome as ever!
We have one child together, Rush Bowen Girardeau, 13yr.old. and two grown, Brent and Alicia (26 & 24).
We live South of Bhm. and enjoy a quiet and simple life. The Lord has Blessed us in so many ways.
I currently do mostly Portrait Photography and have a studio in my home, as well as outdoor photography. Specializing in Black and White and handtinting and heavy oils.
Rush is a Commercial Paint Contractor. There is nothing greater than being married to your Best Friend. And have a "God centered marriage".

ugh and blazed a trail.(Sisters: Lynn, Cathy and Debbie Bowen). It was a great, even the difficult times...looking from this side of the fence living was easy back then. We had parties most every weekend at our home off Thrill Hill, (Dad is still there so go by and see him) All the Sister's are doing great.
My biggest surprise these past few years is seeing all the clothing we wore on "our own kids" now. It's odd getting older and seeing things come full circle.
Please feel free to view my Album of pictures. Most are from Triad parties at my house. My Dad was know as "PapaSon" back then and most of my friends were, and still are crazy about him, so I included some of him too.
It was really a special time at Banks, with many friends I have still stayed connected with for 38 yrs. now. I may not see them much, but a true friend is connecting today, as if it were yesterday. I still appreciate their kindness and friendship 'til this very day. Many sweet memories.
Rush and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Reunion. Thanks to Danny, Gary, Eddie & Bob for your efforts ! I encourage everyone to come, we aren't getting any younger and we always have a good time. Who knows, if you are single, you may meet the love of your life!
See you there!
Blessings!
Denie
