Denise's Story
Life
Retired from the US Air Force in May 1999 after 26+ years and I have been just enjoying doing nothing for most of the years since. I was lucky and spent over 14 years overseas in both Europe and Asia and I traveled to as many countries and continents as anyone I ever knew. I loved it!
In 2004 - 2005, I worked as a Park Ranger at the US Virgin Islands National Park on the island of St. John, and spent most of my time on a Park Boat or working at Trunk Bay Beach. I stayed a year, just long enough to travel and play tourist on 18 different islands. The Caribbean is such a beautiful part of the world.

e on the Florida Panhandle/Alabama border about 50 miles north of the Destin FL, Gulf beaches to spend the winter and spring. Finally bought a house in Minnesota (an old farmhouse and a couple barns in Marietta, MN, directly west of the cities and only a mile from the So. Dakota border). So now I am a "Snowbird", run when the snow hits and come back to MN when the flowers bloom! ;-))
Life is wonderful and the thing I love the most is not having to work any longer! More time for fun and friends! Life is very cool these days and I'm always planning another worldly getaway to far and distant lands!
South America is next on my agenda! ;-))
