Denise's Story
Life After East... I moved onto Penn State and spend four fun-filled years getting an excellent "well-rounded" education -- ah, memories of PSU!
Graduated in Summer of 1992 and by January 1993 landed a job with MBNA in Delaware - but never left PA, did the commute thing for 7 years. Spent my summer weekends in various beach houses in Sea Isle City, NJ - couldn't get that PSU Party Girl out of me! Then, the summer of my last beach house, I met my future husband, Bill, at the Ocean Drive (of all places)...who ever said, "you can't meet someone of quality at a bar!".
We dated for four years while he moved to Stamford, CT for a job and I moved to NYC to work at American Express. I finally got to live out my dream of working in ...Expand for more
NYC! I worked in the World Financial Center (across the street from the World Trade Center) for 8 years.
In 2001, we got married, 11 days after 9-11! We enjoyed our wedding day with all of our friends and family and enjoyed our honeymoon even more. Yes, I was there that morning and lived through that awful day!
We currently live in Westchester County, NY and I landed a job at MasterCard earlier in 2007. We are having tons of fun raising our son Wil, who we were blessed with in 2004, and travelling to the beach (Brigantine, NJ) and Vermont (Mount Snow) on the weekends in the summer and winter months, respectively.
Love catching up with old friends and keeping old memories alive! Hope to see everyone at our next reunion(s)!
