Denise's Story
Life
I left the islands after high school and joined the Army. Served at Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs and a short stint in Kuwait. I married a wonderful man just as I was ending my time in the service and we moved to Lousiana where he was stationed (he was a helicopter pilot). b. I finished my degree there and started working for Caterpillar. A few years later he was promoted and we moved to Kansas City. Our daughter Evi was born in Kansas City and shortly there after we moved to Washington to be close to family. It does rain here, but when it is not (and even when it is...) this has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.
