Denise's Story
Life
I've lived in Phoenix, AZ since 1991 and love it! I have a daughter who attends VA Tech & a son at ASU in Tempe. My husband John passed away in 2011. He was a grad from VA Tech grad in engineering.
I'm a big Patriot's fan having graduated from George Mason with an art degree, and ran all 4 years on a track/XC scholarship, holding school records and qualifying for nationals every year. I earned my master's degree...Expand for more
in elementary education, here in Phoenix. I Am an Elem. art teacher & love it. I am currently working on my national board certification. I love to hike and explore AZ & other places with my son. I love traveling with my daughter for her international baton twirling competitions. She won silver in France in Senior 2 baton event & twirls at events at VT.
Most of my family is still in the Richmond area.
