Denise's Story

2010 -- I am still married to Ken (35 yrs in July) and all five of our children are grown and married (age 24 to 32). We enjoy being empty nesters and babysitting our (so far) 7 grandchildren. I retired from hospital work(RN)August 07. We are still farming, but got out of cattle fall 08 to accomodate other interests. We enjoy a cruise or two each year and find adventurous things to do in ports--snor...Expand for more
keling, hiking, zip lines, kayaking, exploring historical sites. We have volunteered in short-term mission trips to Haiti for the past few years and spent 6 months working there Oct 08 to March 09 following the four hurricanes. We were recently in Haiti for 5 weeks after the devastating earthquake. We are currently working to bring our 15 year old Haitian daughter, Medjinah, to Canada. See new photos.
