Denise's Story
Life
It's pretty amazing when you are in school. You think that sort of life will never end and all your friends will be your friends forever. But what an awakening to find what happens out in the "real" world
I've had quite a journey which seems to continue and never end. Most of all I love my family, children and grandchildren that are now my life, and I miss my parents who died at 48 and 50 years of age. I felt like I was still just a baby when they left me!
I think about school years from time to time, and all of you who paved the way for what I have become. Learning, who and what was important in life and growing and growing with knowledge.
College didn't match it, and business doesn't either. Sometimes I even have some crazy dreams of times at Flowing Wells and all of us adventuring. :) Sabino Canyon, Tangerine Parties, Rillito River Bon Fires, Patagonia,...Expand for more
and so much more!
But, now my life is a ranch where I breed Boer Goats and have dog kennels for dogs that we show. We run around the circle like you see on TV, with our English Bulldogs and Bullmastiffs! You can see some pictures at our Sparta Bullies or Pax Romana Kennels sites, you may search for them online. I also teach yoga at a gym in Benson AZ.
We live on the backside of the Rincon Mountains and it is so beautiful I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Especially during the monsoons the desert is lovely and the creeks run. And sometimes we even get some snow.
My children and grandchildren continue to grow and be a challenge but also my greatest success.
I am very thankful for the few friends from school that I have stayed in touch with. Not often enough, but we have stayed in touch. See you all next reunion or if not then, whenever our paths may meet.
