Denise Belisle:  

Life Have our first grandchild, Kateri Marie Belisle, born Friday, April 23, 2004. Weight of 6 pounds 6 ounces. She has a full head of hair and by all accounts is absolutely beautiful. Proud parents are second son, Darren and Gabrielle (Gail) Belisle of Caroline, AB. Did not get to see her until mid-May. Second grandchild, Evan Gerald, was born December 13. 2005-- saw him January 28, 2006 as I was in the hospital in Brandon for three months. Named after his great-grandfathers, both Geralds. My father, Gerry McFerran, passed away on February 1, 2006, after a fifteen year battle with cancer. Our son, Donovan and his wife, Nevada, have moved back to the farm so we now have six horses, three granddogs, and two cats on the premises. They are training horses and Donovan works in the oilfield also, as his father does. Our son, Dillon and his fiancee, Katrina have returned from Korea, lived a short while in Ottawa, and our now in Calgary along with a bunch of other relatives. We may have a wedding in Nova Scotia next year. Daena, our daughter, is still a chef in Calgary at The River Cafe. College Went back to university in 1988 when youngest was in kindergarten.
