Denise's Story
Life
We're back in the USA after 2 years in Stockholm. It was an experience that I wouldn't trade for the world, but am extremely happy to be home. Living in a foreign country was an eye opening experience and really makes you appreciate the life that we have here. The hardest part of living in Stockholm was the darkness in winter - it's only light out from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. - absolutely the worst thing to deal with!
I flew back to the U.S.A. ahead of my husband with the 2 kids (Shelties-Sadie and Riley). We landed in Newark and I rented an SUV and drove to Jacksonville, FL to save them (really save me) the stress of worrying about another flight. the back fence to greet the golfers going by on the cart path! They didn't miss a beat-it was as if they never left!
Living in a socialist country gave me a new perspective as well. Seeing the complacency and sense of entitlement coupled with a severe lack of entreupenerial spirit, I decided I would not go back to work for someone else, that I would go back to work doing what I love--talking about and selling travel.
So, after traveling and cruising the world I'm ready to use that knowledge to help others plan a great cruise vacation. Not to mention, I now have an excuse to go on as many cruises as I possibly can in order to sell them better. (Sounds like a good excuse to me.) So, if you're looking for a great vacation-e mail me!
