Hi! I'm from the Class of '74. Some of you may remember me, some not. I didn't hang out with just one group of friends. I was involved in Buffalo Gals, the Drama Team, and had my church buddies. My older brother, Jim Parvin, was one year ahead of me and my younger brother, Bert Oakley, was two years behind. Strangly enough, I LOVED high school. I was shy at first, but open and silly once I got to know someone. After high school, I married a man 7 years older than me, we moved to Portland, OR. That lasted 3-1/2 years & I moved back to CA. Emotionally, I went through some hard times & got into the party scene. I married my son's father in the 80's & that lasted for 10 years. After that, I started getting my life together, focused on my son, and my emotional & spiritual health. I'm now married to a great cowboy (10 yrs. in 2009) who's the best. He's madly in love with me.
