Denise's Story
I came to La Sierra in my Jr. year. My brother, Pat, also attended La Sierra, but only for 1 1//2 years. I spent most of my time in Ralph Goings' art classes. , at 30 and we all moved to San Diego in 1982 when I accepted a promotion and transfer to State Parks and Recreation. I was divorced in 1986 and never remarried. I was focusing on raising the boys and my career. I transferred to a coastal Park District in San Clemente (Orange County) for a promotion and was there from 1982 until I retired in 2012. I have not attended any reunions, nor have I kept in touch with friends from La Sierra, although I do wonder what a few of them are doing now.
