Denise's Story
After graduation from high school, I attended University of Redlands as a music major, but decided to change majors after my freshman year and transferred to John Brown University in Arkansas at the bidding of Dawn Dewar, who went there after 1 semster at USC. I graduated with a degrees in psychology/minor in biology and went on to University of Oklahoma and got another degree in physical therapy. abandon my music background, having been the pianist at my church since I was 22 years old. I continued to take piano lessons through college and for 8 more years after that, and sang in choirs/musical groups during college. I sing in Canterbury Choral Society in OKC and am also the choir director at my church since last year. I directed the children's choir for 11 years prior to that. I have taught piano lessons for 10 years and do that part time! I have 3 children: Kim 27, Melissa 24 and Justin 19.
