Hi ya'll! Well, like everyone, like has been an adventure. I retired as a Georgia State Veterans Counselor in 2006 and loved my job KEEP READING I loved my job because I got to work with heroes every day. I lost my husband of 17 years at age 52 suddenly on 2/3/04. I finally decided life might be worth living about 3 years later and my best buddy dared me to put my profile on Match.com. Let me tell you, there are some nuts out there, BUT I met this wonderful guy named Jerry and we dated for a few years, bought a 40 ft motorhome, rented out both our houses and on December 15, 2010, we left. so far, we have done 39 states and I fly home occasionally to check out my family. I was never blessed with children but have lots of niece and nephews and their kids whom I absolutely adore. As of this date in August of 2013, we are in Alabama and headed along the southern coast all the way to California for the winter. We plan to leave with about 35 other Rvers and drive 200 miles into a resort in Mexico and stay for about 4 months. I am really looking forward to it. We keep thinking about buying a place for the summer and one for the winter, but I'm not ready to stay anywhere that long.
