Denise's Story
Life
I am currently living in El Cajon. I have three beautiful girls, Abbie (15 yrs. old), Olivia ( 7 yrs. old), and Natalie (5 yrs. old). Abbie moved back to England last year with her father and is now finishing her education there. She is hoping to attend Bath University. Olivia just started 1st grade, and my baby, Natalie, is now in Kindergarten. After High school I spent 12 yrs. living in England where I married, owned hairdressing salon, had Abbie, and divorced. In 1995 I returned home to San Diego. And here I remain. Olivia's and Natalie's "sperm donor" fathers many of you will know as, Sergio Beltran and Alberto Valenzuela, unfortunately they choose to have nothing to do with their daughters. Their loss! with Karen Garman and her family since she has been back in San Diego. Our fathers worked together for Pacific Bell and we grew up together a couple of streets away in Imperial Beach. Our dads still hang out together, small world as many of you would agree, ha ha. Anyway, I would love to here from my friends that I grew up with and or attended school with.
College
I graduated from Grossmont College last with my Associate Degree and am currently attending SDSU working on my Bachelors majoring in Political Science.
Workplace
I have been working at Grossmont College for the past year. I love working with such a diverse group of people. I put this down to growing up in Imperial Beach and the experience I had living in Europe. Traveling to different countries and meeting people of various nationalities has and still is a wonderful experience for me.
