Denise's Story
Well, not much to tell that is exciting but here goes... After graduation I went on to be a hairstylist and that is where I met my wonderful husband. We have been together since I was 19. No children. I have a stepdaughter and we are now grandparents of a 2 yr. old boy. After six years of the hair business I went to work as a Federal employee. Yuck! That was eight years of hell. Then in 1994 I was diagnosed with a spinal cord problem and had numerous surgeries since. It has been downhill ever since. So now I am disabled but keep on going. I have...Expand for more
alot of great friends and a positive attitude towards life. I am always laughing at life and looking for the good in everything. I can't physically do everything that everyone our age can but I make the best of it. I am very lucky to have found my soul mate at such a young age. He is the BEST. Well, I may not have accomplished as much as the other grads. but my life is wonderful. I am just "happy-go-lucky" (Update) I have recently moved from Phila. to Florida. We bought a beautiful house with a pool and my husband retired. My dream come true!!!!
