Denise's Story

Graduated from UCSB in 1970, got a teaching credential in '71, moved to Ventura and began teaching Home Economics. Added Math credential in '91 and taught basic math and Algebra at Ventura High until retirement in June '07. Got a pilot's license in 1973, and flew for fun until marrying in 1980, when we bought a house, and the money ha...Expand for more
d other priorities. Ed passed away in June '06 from cancer, 3 weeks after Dad. No kids, so now it's just me and my 4 cats. Have just started quilting now that I have the time to sew purely for pleasure. Visited brother Alan and wife in Juneau in February, and spend time at the ranch with brother Ken, Mom, and rest of family in Goleta.
