had it all to do over, I don't think I would change anything, except I would put a little more effort into my studies. College I was on the 9-year plan in college. I attended San Diego Mesa, Grossmont, San Diego City, National University, Northwestern State University of Louisiana, San Diego State University, Aurora Community College (Colorado), and I finally finished up at Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Recreation Administration. I wish I would have gone there right out of high school. Maybe I would have finished in 4 years! Workplace I started out working for the El Cajon Rec department as a playground leader. I eventually worked my way up to being an Operations Director and part time Lifeguard and swim instructor. After college, I worked at a department store for 6 months before being hired by the government as a Contract Specialist Intern. 20 years later, I'm a Contracting Officer responsible for spending your tax dollars!
