Denise's Story

The past 40 years have been eventful--married to "Pinky Long"(PD-1965)--raised 4 kids--in Canyon--we divorced as good friends after 20 years--we now have 5 beautiful granddaughters. I remarried in 1988--John Hirsch--unfortunately he died in 2002. I just recently finished my Master's Degree in Nursing Education and now am...Expand for more
full time faculty at Amarillo College. I worked at BSA for 10 years on the 4th floor(med/surg) and have actually taken care of some of my classmates! Life has been good. I live in the house I grew up in and spend most of my "free" time with kids, grandkids, and yard work--I have 2 acres of land and that's a lot of yard!
