Denise's Story
After High School I wasn't very career minded, so I worked full time as an assembler in the local companies. I met John Ovrebo in 1977, where we sang in the choir of a big youth group. We married July 4, 1981. I have 3 kids. Christopher 30, Cherie 26 and Jacob 22. Yes they are all taller than I am of course, I am happy to say that I am still "fun" sized at 53 and I don't dye my hair. I was a Day Care Provider for 20 years, and I have had many crazy adventures with everyone's kids! nd I had it replaced which was scarier than having 3 kids by emergency C-sections. I have always been active and I still am. I went parasailing in Mexico on my 40th birthday and last May I went Zip-lining on Catalina Island John and I are ballroom fools! About 4 years ago I decided to try something new and we have been happily dancing every chance we can. We have even danced at the Avalon Ballroom twice. I have worked as a receptionist/records keeper in a large Dialysis unit for 6 1/2 years, we are on State Street across from the IHOP. Life has had it's ups and downs (I should write a book), but I am happy to say it has been up for a while now.
