After graduating from Hale, I attended Western for 2 years, then I married Roger Padgett (a math teacher/coach) had 4 kids, participated with the kids in the Co-op preschool, then I tried to go back college. A 3 hour commute was too much for me, so I started working at the grade school as a SpEd Aide working with students with Autism, and continuing to work with kids in the sped dept until I resigned in June 2003. All of my kids are now out of high school: Josh, graduated from Harvey Mudd College in May, 2004, just got married, fishes in AK and is working towards a HS teaching certificate; Jordan, is working as a plumber, Kelsie just graduated from WWU, works at a bank and as a barista. My youngest, Quinn, is a fisherman in AK also, and figuring out what he wants to do. I spent their high school years watching them play sports (the older 3 played all year long!!!) and Quinn was in drama. We moved down to Long Beach, WA area from Darringto...Expand for more
