Dennis's Story
I'm still employed with LDS Family Services at their corporate headquarters in SLC and our local Layton Office. I've had a fantastically interesting and meaningful career as Psychotherapist. We have lived in California, Washington, and Texas. I have had the opportunity to spend meaningful time in a number of Countries as well mostly providing disaster relief and training (Albania w Kosovo Refugees and Indonesia following Earth Quake, etc). Currently I supervise Europe and East Europe and recently visited Moscow to establish the 12 Step Addiction Recovery Program. Other assignments took me to England, Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Italy and Switzerland.
Still water and snow skiing on a regular basis and even placed in a few regional slalom water ski tournaments before leaving Texas about 10 years ago.

of U that has provided many opportunities to impact on lives including placing several hundred children into adoptive homes. I think often of the friends and associations at Bonneville High School that shaped my life especially during my senior year and IâÃÂÃÂm grateful that my Dad offered to pay my car insurance if my grades qualified me for the honor role. I miss the association with many former friends and classmates and mourn the loss of an increasing number of our fellow graduates that have passed on.
Joyce and I have written a few books along the way including Loss and Grief Recovery, Jesus Wept and But If Not. All the books deal with all the various kinds of losses we experience in our lives (mental & physical illness, dreams, divorce, employment, etc) in addition to discussing the impact of the death of Family and Friends in our personal lives.
