Dennis's Story
Life
After graduation, I went to Mizzou for one year on an academic scholarship. I then worked for Frisco Railroad on a coop (civil) engineering job for 9 months. When I was supposed to return to school, I decided I had had enough school and dropped out.
After a short stint in Virginia in a mechanical engineering job, I join IBM in Kansas City, for whom I worked 14.5 years. After leaving IBM, I ran a manufacturing plant for a year, and then another PC company for 5 years. For the last 2 years (and presently), I am working for a telecommunications company (Source, Inc) as the VP of Operations.
My wife (Michal) and I have been married for 20.5 years and have two children, ages 19 and 15. The oldest (Rachel) has graduated and is working full time in real...Expand for more
estate. Nathan is a sophomore at Creekview High School in Carrollton, Texas (a northern suburb of Dallas).
My hobbies are: anything computer related, camping, and music collecting. I have a collection of more than 30,000 songs on my computer, ranging from 1905 to 1979 (I don't collect anything newer). I love playing the old songs we grew up with.
The most important person in my life is the Lord (Jesus Christ), and my wife is a very close second. We teach a marriage class and do marriage counseling (occasionally), and Michal works with anorexic and bulemic girls and women. She has even written a book on eating disorders that we hope to have published some day.
