Dennis's Story
After High School worked at Freeman Chemical, got Scholarship to Marquette U, working full time, took 11 credits in Winter 68, Won the lottery, USMC/Vietnam 68-71. Vietnamese Interpreter, E5 supervised 250+ Vietnamese civilians. Returned home, married Kathy Carr, Aug 70. (50 yrs this yr) 5 children. Followed a successful career in Fiberglass Resins. A, WI, MN, OK, AR, FL, GA, CA, OH, MS. Decade of the 90's the worst, moved 3 times. Daughter In- Laws; Jordanian, Japanese, Son In-Laws, Moroccan, Hispanic, and Bob. Now have kids/grandkids(5) in Milwaukee, WI, Falls Church VA, Honolulu, HI, Memphis, TN. Business/Pleasure travel has taken Kathy and I to: Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Morocco, South America, China, Canada, and Mexico. Life has been Good, often think growing up poor in Port was Not a Bad thing.
