Dennis's Story
Life
UC Berkeley 76 and 80, commissioned in U.S. Army 1976, retired LTC in 1997, served in Korea, Central America and stateside. Currently VP, Space Systems, GD - Advanced Information Systems. Live in Mesa, AZ. Daughter named Devlin and son named Jacob. Hobbies: surfing, hiking, and music.
Military
Commissioned from UC Berkeley 76, served in the Pentagon in 76, Panama (408th ASA and 193 MI CO) for 2 years, then Lawrence Livermore Labs, then graduate school back at Berkeley, then DIA (Central America) for 3 years, Ft. Ord (1...Expand for more
7 Inf Regt, 107th MI Bn) for 3 years, USMA (Dept of Social Sciences) for 3 years, Korea (CFA) for a year, then Ft. Huachuca for 5 years where I was a brigade S-3 and commanded a battalion (326 MI Bn). Had fun, served my country and was ready to do something else. Went to GTE Government Systems build a business in modeling and simulation, Then left ot go to a internet startup (Lutris) in Santa Cruz. Rode it up and down. THen went back to defense this time to General Dynamics, where I am now the VP of Space Systems in Gilbert, AZ.
