Dennis's Story
Life
It has been a great life! Lots of "ups" a few "downs", but overall it couldn't have been better if I had planned it myself!
My Spouse
I met my wife at the Chances R the summer I was discharged from the Navy. She was walking into the Chances R with another girl and they asked me to walk Dee (my wife) in because she wasn't 21 and wouldn't be carded if she was with a male. not sure what kind of logic was in that advice, but I made another date and we have been together ever since. We married in June 1969.
My Kids
They are the two most wonderful daughters a parent could have. They are beautiful, too (they must have taken their looks from their mother, because I still have mine).
Grandchildren
We have a grandaugther and grandson who we spoil as much as possible.
My Job
Retired June 2010 (Was Associate Dean for Administration, Jane Addams College of Social Work, University of Illinois at Chicago).
