Life
Drafted the day the curfew was lifted in 1967, served in Vietnam all of 68 including Tet Offensive; two Purple Hearts while in the 11th Armored Cav. under Col Patton II. Returned to Detroit and got a degree in Business at Wayne State (1973) while working. Promoted to Labor Relations Rep and, as part of office relocation, moved to Phoenix in 1976.
Married now 36 years with two kids and three grandchildren. Great quality of life in Phoenix, contributing to having very wholesome, successful kids.

s the Human Resources Manager at the Arizona State Hospital. It is without collective bargaining but a rewarding experience at a 375 bed mental health facility (forensic, civil, adolescent patients as well as a "predator palace" for sex offenders needing treatment after prison. I'm on the Executive Management Team, reporting to the CEO, and will likely be there until it is no longer fun and then I'll retire.
My recent claim to fame is being in a full page picture of the west side of Phoenix (March 06) in Arizona Highways hiking the summit trail of Squaw "Piewstawa" Peak. Great picture. Great scenery.
