Born in Seattle, WA. Dug-up clams (during low tides) & played on the beaches of the Pugent Sound. Watched migration of killer whales (Orcas) through Pugent Sound from home balcony, every spring & fall! Attended Shorewood elementary until 3rd grade. Moved to Sterling, Illinois when 8 yrs. old. in 1980. Joined US Army Aug. 1980. Stationed at Ft. Sill, OK after basic training until Aug. 1982. Transfered to Sandhofen/Mannheim Germany. Learned to speak/write german. Received Honorable Discharge from US Army Aug. 1983. Lived in Sandhofen/Mannheim Germany. Frequently worked & traveled to Heidelberg, Kaiserslautern, Frankfurt, Weisbaden, German/Swiss border & Alps, Paris, etc. Moved back to America to Indianapolis, IN in Dec. 1986. Lived & worked in Indianapolis, IN until Feb. 1990. Moved back to Illinois in Jan. 1990 for new career opportunity. Employed with upstart dry film lubricant coating company (Dynamic Coatings) started by my Uncle Colonel. Trained & learned coating processes, operated all equipment from ground-up, self-taught & developed new tooling & coating processes, hired, trained, supervised & reviewed new hires. Years later progressed to General Manager & V.P. responsible for daily production scheduling, purchasing / inventory mgnt., monthly revenues, & annual net profits. Through a sweat equity buy-out program (2004), became co-owner of Dynamic Coatings. After the passing of my Uncle Colonel (Nov. 2009), ownership of DCI added 3 new owners. New Board of Directors elected myself as President of Dynamic Coatings. More to follow...".
