Dennis's Story
After MPSS, I graduated form U of T with a BSc and attende Teachers .College. I met my wife there and taught in T.O. for three years, before ,moving to Brantford, home of Wayne Gretzky. We left TO when our first children turned out to be twins; the TO housing market was so hot that we couldn't afford to live there. Subsequently, we had three more children and Ruth stayed home to be a full time mom for the next 15 years. I taught until retirement, mainly grades7&8 and Music. Since retirement ,I have been enjoying my grandchildren and singing with a variety of choirs, including a Barbershop Chorus that I began in January. I wish that I had discovered it decades ago, since I am having so much fun. I've also started a quartet within the chorus and am enjoying that. A great hobby for anyone who has the time and you don't have to read music. They give you the music and learning

use I'm having so mulch fun. On a regular rehearsal night, we'll have 60+ guys on the risers.
My kids range from from 26 to 36.The twins live in Guelph; Amanda is head ot the Human Neutraceuticals Department at the University of Guelph. Her brother Geoff is the Manager of Major. Accounts for P and H Milling in Cambridge. Libby lives in town and is the Supervisor of Patient Transcripions and Ministry Liason for Hamilton Health Services. Hannah has done a number of things and is currently looking for a teaching position ( not easy to find ).The youngest is on maternity leave and has just been very successful in completing a Medical Transcriptionist Course. She hopes to work from home when her leave is over.
Ruth did return to work eventually and taught kindergarten until her retirement two years ago. She is enjoying reading lots of books and grandkids. I'm sure that lots more has happened in the past 45 years , but this should be enou gh to get started.
