I joined this site a few years ago, and have not done much with it so I thought I would write my "story". I left the coast in 1976 (just too cold there for me) and have lived in Redding, CA since then, although we still visit the coast regularly to visit family and for me to go fishing or clam digging. I got married (for the second time) in 1979 to a girl from McKinleyville, Karen Benton, and we will be celebrating anniversary number 36 in April of 2015. We have been blessed with two wonderful kids. I retired in 2007 from a job in the Municipal Utilities Dept. for the City of Redding, My wife has a food demonstration business and has worked in that field for about 25 years. She is the lady you might see in a grocery store handing out food samples. The primary activity that we do though is a Bible ministry. Karen and I have been Jehovah's Witnesses since 1974, and enjoy helping people to learn what the Bible really teaches. It might really surprise you. Our kids are involved too in this same faith.
