Dennis's Story
AFter St. Frances I attended St. Jude Prepatory Seminary (Claretian Order) in Momence, IL and then transferred to St. Mel HS in Chicago from which I graduated in 1963. WHile in HS I was involved in Debate and Drama Clubs, earning my Numerals and Letter. I started college at Morton Junior College, continuing my interest in Theatre and appearing in many plays with the college and also in Summer Stock. my BA from Maryknoll College. AT that time of turmoil, the mid-60s, I once again returned to church after some absence from it, but in the Eastern Orthodox Church. I entered a monastery a became a monk. In 1998 I was consecrated a bishop, nd after a number of years converd to the Anglican Church, renewin my monastic vows as a Benedictine. I am presently an assisting bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Quincy, in Illinois and a member of St. Benedict's Abbey, Bartonville, IL.
