Dennis's Story

I pray God has blessed you. I married Linda Alders in 1970 and we settled in Arcadia, California, living there until 1977. Our daughter, Amanda, was born in 1976. We moved to Texas in 1977 where our second daughter, Morgan, was born. I went to work for Dow Chemical retiring in 2004. The job at Dow was a blessing in many ways most especially as it allowed me to travel. Linda passed in 2003 to cancer. She blessed my life in so many ways, but most by teaching me how one should love another. I doubt there is a greater impact one can make in this life short of aiding another to know Christ.. She blessed so many in her life and there are no words to express all I feel. I pray always I will live in such a way so as to join her when my day comes as I've no doubts about her destiny. I married again in 2005 to Sally Waltrip who also lost her spouse to cancer. Linda, shortly before she died, suggested I make contact with Sally "when the time is right". Sally and I met by accident and the rest was "history". Sally int...Expand for more
roduced the phrase" twice blessed" into our marriage and it is so true. We have 7 grandchildren. Amanda and Brad provided us a grandson, Colton, in 2003 a few months before Linda passed (she had prayed God would allow her to see a grandchild when she was first diagnosed in 1997). Sally's daughter Christina has two daughters; Avery and Ella. Her son, Jeff and wife Kristen have two daughters, Ava and Juniper (Junie to us). My daughter, Morgan and husband Andy, have two children; a daughter Tess and a son Drew. I am FULLY retired, though I do some consulting on occasion. I was diagnosed with lymphoma in March 2016. It’s been a difficult journey, but God has blessed me to be in remission since July 2017. Whatever comes I trust Him. I pray God's blessings for my friends and trust our lives will cross again someday, in this life or the next. 6/1/2023 - I suffered a relapse to cancer in 2020. the disease is managed via daily chemo. I suffer from fatigue, but I am blessed to be able to do most of what I desire.

Sometimes one just has to laugh 😀
This meme was from “Occupy Democrats” while Obama was in office.
Again the Left “projected” their intentions based upon their own thought process.
Now we literally have what should be called the “opposition media”.

It’s incredible how much the Democrat Party has devolved in my lifetime.
Speaks perfectly to the results of socialism/communism ... and now liberal-progressivism.

They expect to win converts with this approach ... lol

A load of irony in this ...
This speaks to way more than birth control ...
It defines liberal- progressivism which is ALL about coercing someone else, anyone else, to pay for “my” individual choices.
Nothing better illustrates selfishness.
