Joanie ( Zaleta) and I got married July '75 about a month after we graduated from separate schools. Had three kids,
Matt '78, now Creative Director for TuKaiz Printing, Annie, '80 now a stay at home mom with her four fantastic kids...
Ellie, 7, Patrick 5, Kathryn, 3 and Lily 10 months. Thank goodness they don't take after their grandpa. They live in Mt. Prospect., and Doug, '82, a Bio Chemist, living the bachelor life. Degrees. I've been designing and selling
marketing kits since '83. Started my own company in 2001. Kind of cruising towards partial retirement this July.
Work is getting in the way of my golf game.
I coached gymnastics at Oak Park High School until they dropped the boys program, then coached a kids wrestling team ( 6 years, and ended up coaching at Fenwick for 8 years. Retired from that one when I started having trouble getting out of bed whenever we'd have a tough practice. Still living in Berwyn in a giant house we bought just before all the kids left for college. Nice house, too much work.
