Dennis's Story
Life
After graduation in 1961, I enrolled in North Texas State University in Denton. I originally majored in Drama but quickly decided to switch to Education. I worked full time as a cook, bowling alley mechanic, freight dock worker, and department store stocker during the entire time I was in college. I worked summers for Exxon. aught and served as an administrator. I married my high school sweetheart and although we were divorced many years ago, we had two wonderful children who have grown up to be successful in their own right. Both are now married and I have three fantastic grand children. I retired from education in 2004 and have spent the last 3 years playing golf with my grandson, touring the US on my BMW K1200LT motorcycle, and in general enjoying all the things I never had time to do while working/teaching full time.
