Dennis's Story
I've bounced around over the years and spent most of the time between New York and California. I'm married to a Brooklyn girl and have four boys (grown up....mostly). One son lives in Massachussetts, another in North Carolina and my last two live here in Orting (my 22yr old still lives with me....he's trying to catch on as an Emergency Medical Tech).
My dance card is a little full these days as I'm a member of Toastmasters International and I've taken on (more than I can chew) District PR duties and am an officer in my local club. We have a conference coming up in November and I'm busy tr...Expand for more

In 2004 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (cancer like luekemia). Went through a bone marrow transplant. Lost 5 1/2 inches in height and still have a bunch of stress fractured vertebrae in my back. It's been a barrel of laughs. I'm on the mend and the cancer is in remission, In the meantime, I've written three articles for Coping (w/ Cancer) magazine and try to spread the good news that cancer isn't a death sentence. (At least, not yet <he says hopefully>).
