Hello classmates!
It was a great time from 1974 through 1978. My freshman year my cousin who was a senior showed me around and we hung out with the gang members. In my sophomore year I meet new friends and I joined the track team, played basketball and football for a short time, these folks hung out in Marlboro Country on the east side of the school. Later in my Sophomore year and Junior year I met some new friends, got my first car (1963 Impala) and started going to club's, dancing and having fun, This got me a spot on American Bandstand, this group of people hung out in the front of the school. I worked many jobs through the ROP program, Taco Bell on Garfield, Brake and wheel shop on Garfield and Newmark, Sold suits at Howard's men's store in Atlantic Square, also worked for Music Plus 4,
I went to East Los Angeles College to be an Architect, on my first day in class the instructor said thee will only be two of you that succeed and beco...Expand for more
me architects, so you may want to consider taking the computer class down the hall! I got my books and walked down the hall. Later, I went on to technology school in Los Angeles and later studied Ultra Sound technology in Bothel Washington.
I was first married to a girl form Ramona Convent then later a Girl from Mission High School, Catholic Girls.... my last and final wife is much younger and listen's to a different type of music than I do, but she has given me a baby boy that I am just head over heals for, Duke Jonathan Romo, at 4 months he is a chip off the old block.
Well I work for a technology company doing well and have purchased an old English Manor ( Called "Romo Manor") in the City of Upland. Today much of my time is Involved with many charities, I am even a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, sit on the local board of the Historical Society.
Today most folks know as Duke Romo, miss all my classmates. August 18 2016
