Dennis's Story
during my high school years i have been working both part time and full time jobs plus working as a full time apt manager and maint running my dads business sence he was diagnose with cancer in my senior yr so i had to take on as head of house hold or man of house after that my sister worked at disneyland for a long time and still is currently doing just that i moved to rivierside and started looking for work there getting work jobs thru temp agency until i could find what i was meant to be i went to truck driver school and after that i became a truck driver for the inland impire area and then all of southern calif got to see lots of souther calif freeways and city now im working for a city that i realy love i wanted to work outdoors and i did
My Kids
i have a wonderful stepdaughter jennifer and grandson jacob is now 2 yra old living in federal way washington who is going to be moving back here to calif this july after my lease is up on her apt i help get her a place up there
My Job
i enjoy the outdoor work life working with the public at a city run campground and also work on a large natural made lake maintaining a safe invirement safe boating and r...Expand for more
ecreations facillity i do bouy maint. and keep a city boat launch clean and ramp safe for launching i also keep the beaches clean from trash and debri i remove hazards from lake . help out the sheriffs with safety and rescues along with lemsar teams and for campground i tend to cleaning the bathrooms showers and emptying trash cans.the grounds keeper shoreline also needs to be clean all the time for people to wade at the water edge this is a no swimming lake.
School
if i could do high school all over again i would do it again because it went by so fast that i missed out on some things g to dances i missed out on games , dating girls i didnt get to know then but i wished i did maybe my life would be much happier now i was taking care of my dad and running his busines didnt have time to mingle with anyone.
Workplace
well i went from being a part time worker to public works trainee to full time maint worker 1 then to maint. worker 2 then got my class B lic now working on geting my class A lic back and next getting trained in scuba diving and in the next two years i am going to be working on keeping my job because of the economony hoping to pick up again
