I have been residing in New Jersey since 1990 First landed at Fort Monmouth NJ and did a lot of Temporary Duty 2-3 months on average across the planet working with civilian GS grade engineers. Actually qualified for West Point officer school by the end of my 4-year and my only enlistment. I was quite skeptical since there was major downsizing happening right before Desert Storm. Things were changing drastically so the military was no place to be a lifer. I still was on the hook to be called back for the next six years even though I was inactive. I just held my breath Haha.
