Desiree's Story
Life I was married since 1978, but divorced in 2007. I lived in suburban Chicago for more years than I can remember. My son graduated from Michigan State University (go Spartans!); he is now a law student at New York University. I worked in hospital administration for about 10 years at some of the major medical centers in Chicago before going to medical school as 2nd career, graduating from Rush Medical College in June, 2001. psychiatry in the suburban Chicago area where I worked until moving to Oklahoma City in 2009 to be closer to family. I currently work at Integris Baptist Medical Center with the transplant program; before that I was on faculty at OU Health Sciences (Medical School) in Dept of Psychiatry working in medical student education. I like patient care much better than academic, but I do supervise OU medical student on their psychiatry rotation.
