Desiree's Story
Life
Currently living in West Lafayette, Indiana. We move every 18 to 36 months for work.
We started in Washington working in several parts of the state from 1981 through 1991. Then the desire to roam hit us.
Since 1991, we haved lived in some fun places: North Carolina, Chicago - twice, Indiana, Georgia, Switzerland, New York - 90 days, Michigan and now Indiana, again.
Culture, language, food, rituals; all that brings enjoyment in our lives.
Keep trying to get back to the western part of the country - visiting occurs during work...Expand for more
travel and vacations; no luck in work taking me there for any length of time to live.
Indiana is now surpassing 2 years and we are itching to get going again. We prefer cold or moderate climates. We will see what comes next.
It is now 2012 and we are living in Mt Bethel, PA on the Delaware Gap. It is beautiful. We got here via a one year tour in Stroudsburg, PA and one year tour in Mehoppany, PA. Of course it is work that has drivien the moves. I currently travel between Connecticut to New York to New Jersey to West Virginia.
